It goes without saying that we all have our own tastes and preferences. Some of us prefer muted colours, others like things bright. Grey clouds might be perfect for one room, but a little gloomy for another.
Here I’ve shown a few examples of original lampshades made with different cloud fabrics. All designs are my own and are based on details taken from the skies of paintings held in collections of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. They’re a great example of the flexibility of my design process and ability to respond to individual requests.
