Many people believe robins to be messengers from lost loved ones, giving us the saying “Robins appear when loved ones are near”, and their presence can be a great comfort.

The wood for this piece is antique oak, salvaged from a set of church hymn book shelves.

The beautiful little robins are my own design, adapted from a vintage illustration and made to order in the UK.
