This vintage brass lion is a really special piece that looks like it may have had a base at some point, but now sits perfectly on the front of a shelf with its tail hugging the edge.
Its front paws are in a really natural, crossed position and it has a lovely face.
It’s a heavy object, despite being hollow cast, and is really well modelled, with beautiful texture and patina.
Approximately 20cm in length.
